Influence the College’s policy on eHealth and information management
Informatics forums are small groups of occupational therapists who are interested in the impact of information management on the practice of occupational therapy. They inform the College’s views on eHealth. There is an informatics forum in England and Scotland which the College encourages members to join.
Ensuring that national eHealth strategies support occupational therapists
The College is represented on two national committees of Connecting for Health: the National Advisory Group (NAG) and the National Clinical Reference Panel (NCRP). These committees influence future developments in the National Programme for IT in the NHS in England.
