Our Specialist Section was established in the early 1990s to address the emerging issues of intervention with people with HIV/AIDS, cancer, and palliative care needs
We respond to the changing needs of this caseload as many conditions such as cancer, HIV, neurological, renal and heart disease become more chronic. COT Specialist Section - HIV/AIDS, Oncology and Palliative Care informs, influences and actively contributes to health policy and guidelines at a local and national level.
