The first COT Disability Forum Support Seminar will be heldon Thursday 3rd April 2008 at COT Headquarters, 106-114 Borough High Street, Southwark, London SE1 1LB. The day will commence at 11.00 a.m. and finish at 4.00p.m. Lunch and refreshmentswill be provided.If you have a strong interest in disability issues then come to the first of a series ofseminars of the COT Disability Forum.

There will be a key note presentation from Baroness Wilkins, the patron of COT andfurther specialistpresentations fromJane Hibberd-University of East Anglia,an expert in Assistive Technology and Charlotte Urwin - Policy Officer from HPCpresenting on 'fitness to practice'.

Challenging discriminatory actions

In October, members of the BAOT/COT Disability Forum ventured to Harrogate International Centre for Unison’s 14th National Disabled Members Conference, where attendees voted on a range of issues such as disability equality duty and disability leave.
