Ashley Bilen, Teesside University
I joined BAOT as soon as I started my BSc (Hons) programme. With a few clicks of a mouse, the world of OT is at my fingertips! I can discuss OT topics on the forum, search the COT library and online resources, read OT journals, plan a visit to conference, join a specialist section or local group and browse training opportunities. My BAOT student membership enables me to belong, learn, participate and be inspired!

Sophie Olley, Coventry University
I joined BAOT 3 years ago at the beginning of my first year of University. My BAOT membership allowed access to articles which proved essential to back up my assignments as an OT student.  I found this of most use when on placement in Canada, comparing English guidelines and literature to those followed in Canada.  BJOT also details a vast variety of jobs providing information which would otherwise be difficult to acquire.

Jason Vickers, University of Salford
As a student member of BAOT I believe that a huge benefit is the UNISON membership which gives me peace of mind for present and upcoming placements. It’s also reassuring to know that when I do qualify I can gain professional advice on career development and opportunities for Continuing Professional Development.
