Some students need to pay for BAOT membership
Due to the way healthcare students are funded, some of you need to pay for your BAOT student membership and others will have their membership paid by their University. The student membership fee is £6.24 per month, which works out to be £78.88 per year. The quickest method of activating your membership is to set up a direct debit mandate online. You can also contact our membership department for information on alternative payment methods, for example, using a cheque.
Ashley Bilen, Teesside UniversityI joined BAOT as soon as I started my BSc (Hons) programme. With a few clicks of a mouse, the world of OT is at my fingertips! I can discuss OT topics on the forum, search the COT library and online resources, read OT journals, plan a visit to conference, join a specialist section or local group and browse training opportunities. My BAOT student membership enables me to belong, learn, participate and be inspired!
Jason Vickers, University of SalfordAs a student member of BAOT I believe that a huge benefit is the UNISON membership which gives me peace of mind for present and upcoming placements. It’s also reassuring to know that when I do qualify I can gain professional advice on career development and opportunities for Continuing Professional Development.
