The College of Occupational Therapy is regularly asked to respond to various proposals and draft policies and plans from government, voluntary organisations, professional bodies and other non-governmental organisations on issues related to occupational therapy. In response to this, the COT work in collaboration with members and specialist sections to write responses and ensure the profession and members' views are represented. This can influence the outcome of government and other organisations' policies.
